Speedie of the Week KRIEGSHUND15 & STAR CAT16

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of update last week - due to stupid technical reasons on my laptop's part, the full version of last week's speedie '#15 Kriegshund' got corrupted. (Damn you technology!) So I'm uploading a version taken off of my deviantART gallery. In any case, if ever you think you've missed a speedie, you can see all of them at the Speedie of the Week gallery on dA. For full Kriegshund commentary, please check out my artist's comments on deviantART.

#15 Kriegshund

Kriegshund was a special speedie for Remembrance Day. It was designed to honour ALL soldiers, whether they run on two feet or four, no matter their nationality or the war they participated in! This one features a german shepherd dog, which is historically the favoured breed for military and police service work.

#16 Star Cat

This one is concept art for my book series, showing an elven cat transforming from energy into her physical form. Usually in my series I try to explain everything with science, but this is one where all I can say is... MAGIC! Hope you enjoy. This one is dedicated to a dear friend of mine, who has been having a tough time lately. I made this character for her.

Anyway, I want to make a note that because of the hellish workload I have, updates might be a little infrequent until Christmas - this is because I have too much stuff on my plate to spare time for stuff like scanning mountains of sketch book doodles and I certainly don't have any time for digital art. I'll do my best to keep posting some stuff though. You can certainly look forwards to production work from my various university projects! However, starting the first friday of December to the 18th, there won't be any speedies. I regret doing this, but school's more important. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter. I appreciate it!
