Finally, after months of work - it's done! (Months because university kept refusing to give me any time to dedicate to this.) Anyway, this is a commission I did for my cousin, who wanted this made for her daughter. When I drew the original sketch back in August, I tried to think of what sort of things I would of liked in a fairy tale picture like this and came to the conclusion that kids like animals. :) To date, this is the most detailed layout I have ever made and the .psd file spans 86 layers. I wanted to do a really good job on this one and I really hope my cousin's daughter likes it. This was the first time I've ever gone so hardcore with the plants and animals of an image. In the end, all I can hope is that I have succeeded in my duty as an artist to make my audience happy.
