One of my favourite ink illustrations so far - the kiri Tanna riding the hynorse Niku in a sprint race. Racing hynorses compete in these races individually for breeding rights. It's a test of high speed and endurance and the kirin rider is not allowed to aid their mount in the competition, except as a lookout. (Note the lack of reins.) Went for for a feeling of power and speed with this. Anyway, hope you like it. My internet silence continues this week as I finish my editing.
