Well some of these are successful, but most of them really aren't. Most of these are half hour drawings using the model only for anatomical reference, while a few are real life drawings of the model and the velociraptor Moki is obviously me just being a prat and drawing a velociraptor 'cus I felt like it. Trust me; it's one of many Moki drawings you're going to see.
The most successful of my training of using the model just for anatomical reference is the drawing of my character Mo's head and face in side view profile at the top of this post. I drew a couple renditions of the model (Trevor) first and then, feeling brave, I tried to draw Mo. I love how he turned out! This marks the first time I have ever drawn one of my humanoid characters looking truly realistic, like you could meet them in real life. (Momentaru is a drakoon and he got his name long before I ever met our professor Moh.) In any case, please enjoy!
