What is it with me and creepy would-be holiday images?! Anyway, here's the newest one - a starfer in it's winter pelt, staring at us from around a tree. Only their manes fail to change colour with the snows, but even that's not enough for most people to see a starfer before it attacks. Most starfer attacks on humans on Rimer are in the winter, when starfers can outrun the swiftest human. It's one reason that those humans who live in close proximity to starfers keep dogs - better to have some warning then none at all!
Here's another example of my terrible sense of holiday humour - this is me, ruining perfectly innocent events with predation.
Enjoy.
