My first post today is a sad one. If you read my writing blog, you probably know that my dear cat Sunny passed away August 19th of this year, 2011. The pain is still very fresh and drawing this was an excersize in agony, but it's done and so here Sunny is, in all his cuddly, adorable, splendiferous glory.
Rest in peace buddy.
I realized today that I didn't upload my picture of Matriarch (the alpha female of the swiftclaw pack) to explain yesterday's speedpaint post. She's Moki and Tyanar's mother in my graphic novel idea Velocity. She's not a huge character, but she's a very strong female personality and she doesn't take shit from anybody. This is a raptor who is extremely smart who is more likely to outsmart you than you are to outsmart her. She might not be a big dinosaur as a swiftclaw, but she makes up with that with pure ass-kicking badassery.
