Old sketches from WAY back! Some may be repeats (I was trying to be thorough) but in any case, here we have concept drawings for:

Also, a few things are random. Like the bucking bull and the creepy ass monkeys. Monkeys scare me!
HOLY KATZ! This work is amazing. Would you mind if I studied it a bit to help me with my sketch work? It's freaking unbelievable. What's the process you use to go from an idea to a drawn out picture? Where do you come up with all the intricate equipment details for creatures like Firako in battle gear? What kind of reference stuff do you use? Ykaren and Keel really make me laugh, loving the 'incognito' ideas and kid Hunter is such a cute dumpling. Cleaned up and coloured, pretty much all of this work would make an epic portfolio. Would you let me colour a pic for you??

ReplyDeleteUm... looking at the fifth and sixth pages here... I hope you don't mind some constructive criticism. Cause here it comes and I don't mean any offense by it but here goes:
Your dinosaurs look like mammals.
If there's a wildlife rehab center or a zoo nearby (and I would be shocked if there wasn't since your canines are off the hook), go and sketch birds of prey. And get thee a copy of this book: http://tinyurl.com/6fxlmsf Used copies are dirt cheap and a new copy will pay for itself.
