This one is to be a colour test, since I want to update Eqaetz's (the horses) colouring to be more realistic. It was also a test to try to draw an Sloveniskan Elven Horse that looked like I want them too, so this is also concept art.
Here's a concept of another race/breed off elven horse from the country of Silaine. Silaine's rainforests were long ago razed and it's a very flat place, so its horses have evolved to be lighter bodied and longer legged and in some areas, they must where fabric dustmasks as shown to protect their lungs. Despite their swifter anatomy (I went for 'arabesque') these guys aren't actually faster than Sloveniskan Elven Horses as they have lost their ability to use magic, a side effect of inbreeding.
Concept art for a long established species of animal on the Sloveniskan/drakoon continent. They're used for meat, leather and carrying goods and they are described as being approximately the size of a house. They make horse-sized as-dragon drakoon look tiny!
