Y'know it's sad when a $80 dollar tablet kicks a $2000 Cintiq's ass, but today one definitely did. Something was off with the calibration or something and it made drawing not-so-fun. Anyway, this is dedicated to the awesome Samantha Wheeldon for always being so nice and happy to see me. Cheers a girl up to meet somebody so gosh darn friendly! Samantha named this guy, so here you go, hope he cheers her up like she did for me. :)
Inspired by the London Museum episode of 'Museum Secrets' on History Television where they explored the idea that the extinct Barbary Lion may in fact be still alive in zoos as the Moroccan Royal Lion, which are so gosh darn dopey looking and cute that I needed to draw one!
This be mah first time colouring a lion. Went for realish colours as usual.
