A tribute picture for Full Wolf Moon which is very lucky to exist because my laptop, which has been having horrible technical difficulties, malfunctioned and restarted during the course of making this a total of SIX times, despite having a big external fan less than a foot away pointed directly at its vents. It sounds like a helicopter. There's definitely something wrong with its internal fan!
I'm SO lucky that this saved. My computer gave a warning halfway through exporting into .png format that it was about to restart, but then just a second before it did photoshop finished saving the file, so I didn't have to try saving it again! Thank goodness! I'm so relieved that this is done now and that my client likes it. Now I can sit back and watch history television while contemplating the icky feeling in my throat. (Joy. Sickness. It's so fun.) Currently unemployed, hoping to be hired soon. I took my 7 month old kitten for a walk for the first time today! (January 19th) He was brave enough to come out of his carrier into the great outside about five or six times, which brings me to the fact that there seems to be a lot of sixes in my life today - six restarts with Lappy, six hours producing this picture and six times Coper ventured out into the great outdoors! Hope that's a good thing. My favourite number was always six.
The moon in this piece was reused from that awful TV bumper I made last year in university. A smart artist makes things like that reusable - it was a really gorgeous moon.
Oh! One more thing in afterthought - my art's gotten a bit rebellious since university I've noticed. You can see that here in the sketchy lines on the wolf; before I would have put a lot of great care into my lines and coloured them, but now I don't. I still put a lot of effort sometimes, but a lot of the time I just like the rougher, more human look. I rebel these days against conformity. I want my art to look like a human being drew it, not a machine.

Pretty! Ricky will help fix your computer but I'm not sure when as he's really busy right now... we'll try and work something out :)
