In this new life of my graphic novel The Prayer Fulfilled, things are a tiny bit different. The colouring has been simplified, the art improved and the shading also simplified. In this we see very simple dark blue shading with Gaussian Blur applied to it, simplistic colouring with nothing over done and just a little bit of sparkle to the elven kitties' eyes to make them seem alive. Since the backgrounds depend so much on lineart in my style, so shall the characters, with colouring being less of a focus. A gradient 'mood' layer of butter yellow and blue-black has been added over top, set to multiply and adjusted in opacity. Because it is so dark, hard painterly shadows which are easy to do help the background. Here is some WIPs:
